Here's some excerpts:

- "The developers at BLiT have really done a good job with making the game play as challenging yet unbiased as they can."

- "A lot of effort has been and continues to be put into improving this game and the customer support has been top notch. If you read the forums concerning this game you’ll find everyone who contacted BLiT’s development team impressed with the quick and knowledgeable response. I like to hear that about companies whose products I review… "

- "Overall I have been extremely impressed with this game and look forward to the enhancements and added features that will be added in the future. These guys are working very hard at making Aggression one of the very best games designed for the Palm OS. You know what? They just might succeed…. "

- "Score: 98/100 (Note: The only reason this game did not receive a perfect score is due to its developmental status. I expect it to be extremely stable with the next release or two so please take that into consideration when viewing this score…)"

Here is a very thorough, professional "walk through" review of Aggression from Bargain PDA: -
And while the reviewer didn't catch all the features of Aggression, this review is detailed enough to qualify as "the unofficial manual" of Aggression.

Here's some excerpts:

- "Aggression really shines where it counts most – graphics and great game play. "
- "I was pleasantly surprised to see that BLiT Games was up front in discussing known issues and work-arounds for many [compatibility] issues."
- "If you love Risk, you’ll love Aggression as it faithfully replicates the classic game. BliT Games has a real winner here, but they do need to work on the compatibility issues to make this a Great Game."
- "Excellent graphics and challenging computer opponents make for a fun & convenient “Round of Risk”. I highly recommend purchase, but only after trying it first to ensure compatibility with your system and installed third-party software. "
- "The game is one of my favorites that will follow me to new devices."
- "If you like Risk, you need to download, and pay, for this game right away. If your a casual Risk fan, but like strategy games, you should get the trial and see if it works for you. One last thing, BLiT has released a few fixes and upgrades, so their dedication to continued product support is good to see."

Beautifully executed!
Nadim Gharios, September 18th, 2003

This software has preserved the true challenge of the Risk game with added excitement... you don't have to wait for the dice to roll or opponents to play which means that all the boring part of the game has been cut off! Very addictive (and time consuming) game. I'm not a big gamer but this game has kept me glued on my palm... Support is also great and above all very fast! Keep up the good job but plan to improve the AI cause soon i'll become unbeatable! hehe

If you only buy one game for your handheld, it had better be this one.
Nick Pietron, August 3rd, 2003

Agression is not only the best game, but also the best piece of software avaliable for the palm computing platform. I use my palm for everything from school to business to fun, and I have never installed a program so clean and perfect with such great support. First off, the game itself is great. The board game version of "Agression" takes hours of play time and no one ever wants to sit around that long and eat nachos for a board game. Now, you don't have to find anyone. This software has great AI ranging from easy (for the beginners) to Advanced (For the vetren players). THere are enough options to make the game work for you. Things like Quick Populate help speed up the game for when you are in one of those boring business meetings that you know will only last a half hour or so. There is a PC version of this game by another company, but it comes nowhere close to the fun of the handheld version. The people who made "Agression" know that the game was DESIGNED for the handheld community. By that I mean simply that the PC one has to keep up to date with the newest, nicest graphics to sell it, and that makes the game long, boring, and slow. THe Handheld version offered by Blit Games, is fast, animated, and the graphics are the best avaliable on the palm computing platform. As if all that isn't worth the price of admission, the company further improves their rating by the technical support. If you ever have any problems getting anything installed, you can drop an e-mail to the developers, and within hours, you will get a response helping you fix any problem you have. Customer Service is #1 priority to these guys, and it shows. Drop them a letter telling them you like the game, and they will even respond to that within hours. If all the game companies were this dedicated to their customers and their products, then we would find much more software out there that makes 5 stars. Agression is fun, customizable (to your desired play time), and well supported by the developers. If you only buy one game for your handheld, it had better be this one. Let your friends blow their money on that other game, then laugh at them when their jaws drop at this one. This game is a steal at the offered price. You will get your moneys worht in the first ten minutes, guaranteed!

Aggression is fantastic, and I should know.
Jean Philippe Amaré from Handheld Basic, August 2nd, 2003

Hello Guys, I'm a palm developer and I have distributed more than 50,000 Palms with my applications, so I know when an app is great. I can tell you that Aggression is fantastic. Congratulations for the game, and for the support.

One down the road of Palm game history.
Edwin from Markham, Ontario, June 27, 2003

Seems to me the good old saying "nice thing comes in small packages" applies equally well to Aggression. Having 3 trial runs felt kind of short as the game is truly addictive. Had experienced a slight redraw problem when resetting the brightness level and the technical support got right back to me very soon.... impressive indeed. Definitely a potential one down the road of Palm game history, well worth the price particularly now it's in promotion.

Terrific game ... Incredible support.
Steve from Morgan Hill, CA, June 21, 2003

Having downloaded a new game, "Aggression", from a company I have never done business with before I must say that they have not only written a terrific game for the whole family but their support was incredible. Their initial release was a very popular launch and my experience of installing and getting everything working was greatly enhanced by the rapid response and can-do attitude of the team at BLiT. Thanks for the great support and we look forward to future enhancements to a terrific first release of Aggression.

*Definitely* got my money's worth
Chris Jones from Suffolk, VA, June 13, 2003

I discovered Aggression via a brief review on www.cliesource.com and upon reading up on it I was *immediately* impressed. This the first application (game) that I've seen that makes full use of the Sony Clie's 320x480 screen size (I've got an NZ90) in landscape mode. This is what this pda was made for and why I've loved this family of pda's since they came out... the huge screen real estate. The game does work on lower resolution screens. I played Risk (which the game basically is) when I was a kid and remember loving it... and this makes it even more fun since you don't have to manually move your little armies all over the place :) It didn't take me long to realize that I'd *definitely* get my money's worth with this game so I bought it. You can easily come in and out of a game with ease, which makes it easy to play whenever you have free time. Also I must mention the makers of the game. I found I had a problem with a backup application that whined about a small file related to Aggression. Not only was the response quick, but it was friendly, personalble, and helpful! They offered me a solution the next day and I've been running problem-free every since.

An excellent game, beautifully executed!
Nick from Ohio, USA, June 8, 2003

This is the slickest migration of a board game to the Palm platform that I've seen. It's based (very faithfully) on Risk(TM), but it's better! The visuals are wonderful. On the 480x320 screen this game looks better than many Mac and PC versions - no joke. If you're a hardcore gamer, this game will test your mettle. If you are a gamer with gamer friends, this will give you hours of social entertainment. Think of it - now you can play the world's best global domination boardgame in the bar, or a meeting, or on a dull flight to Japan, or to Amsterdam Schipol airport... or some other wimpy place that you could dominate with a single Juggernaut move if the world but conformed to the rules of Aggression! MWAHAHAHAHAHA! :-D I rule the world! Enjoy.

For Risk fans, this is it! Great game for anyone, actually.
Brad from Visalia, CA, June 3, 2003

First of all, this is a really fun game of conquest. It has all the look and feel of the real board game of Risk(R). Just like the real thing, a game can go a long ways. Attacking, fortifying, and strategizing all feel the same as if playing the board game. The look of the game is outstanding. It seems that BLiT has carefully thought out each detail from the interface to how the game is played. The gameboard is beautiful and I really enjoy playing a game in landscape mode using the full beautiful screen of my Clie NX70V. It caters to the experienced player as well and can speed up the more logistical aspects of the game. On the whole, I am very impressed and feel it to be a tremendous bargain.

Excellent Game - Amazing Customer Service.
A reviewer from Los Angeles, CA, May 16, 2003

I've been waiting for a handheld global domination game like this for quite a while... by far the best and most graphically impressive game for the Palm I've seen yet. Aside from the great gameplay, the customer service is OUTSTANDING. I recently downloaded the game to my new Tungsten C. Because my palm model had just been released, there were some minor compatibility problems with my palm keyboard. I e-mailed customer support, they responded within minutes and fixed the incompatibility in about an hour, e-mailing me the new installation files. Game works perfectly now! THAT'S what I call customer service.

Super game Top customer service.
1tjack@comcast.netfrom Chester Virginia, May 10, 2003

The graphics on this game is simply awesome! This is easily the best game on my Palm Zire71. What really impressed me was the customer support. When I had problems installing the game and lost the code number Jeff from customer support was there to help and solved any problems I had with the game. I?m a very satisfied customer with the game and support!

Wonderful game for the Clie NR70V.
Jason Perry from Arizona, May 3, 2003

This has to be one of the best games I have played on my Sony Clie NR70V. First, the game really takes advantage of the NR's screen by displaying in widescreen mode. I have other games that take advantage of my NR's entire screen but this is the first I have used that displays in landscape rather than portrait. Second, the graphics are wonderful and fully replicate what a player would see on a Risk board. Thirdly, game play is fantastic. Many of the functions that a player might want to use are just a tap or jog dial away. The developers have really gone the extra mile to make this game easy to play so that a player is thinking more about strategy than where a certain function is. Perhaps the buttons on the screen are a tad small, but generally I don't have a problem with that. Finally, I can't say enough about the customer support. I did have an issue with the game and sent an email to the developer regarding it. I received a fast response to my email that included a very detailed explaination on what was happening with regards to that issue. Again, some of the best customer service I have seen for a Palm OS program and to see that kind of support from a new player on the market really indicates a level of committment to keep me as a customer for any of their future projects.

Simly Amazing.
A reviewer from Los Osos, California, May 1, 2003

Excellent EVERYTHING!

Great Game and Incredible Customer Support!
GKJ from Los Angeles, California, May 1, 2003

As the other two reviews have stated, this is a fabulous Risk-clone that contains beautiful graphics and addictive gameplay. What is more impressive, however, is the customer support--which is the best that I've ever seen. They immediately responded to all of my inquiries and kept me updated on changes made to the game. I have never seen this level of support. Indeed, there is a dedicated group of individuals working on the game, and it really shows. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

Not only does it look great, but it plays great too!
Steve Wood from San Jose, CA, May 1, 2003

Finally a well written and beautiful game for the "cinema" screen on the NR70. Makes great use of the space and packs a lot of play value. It's fun to play and to show off the capabilities of the HiRes screen. The developers are very responsive as well, so I look forward to future enhancements!

Awesome in High Res+
Mary Jo Sminkey from Herndon, VA, April 29, 2003

I've played a few other Risk clones on Palm and they all were so complicated and difficult to play...mainly because you could never see the whole map at once. No more! Not only can you see it all with this version, the graphics are superb and FAST! Game play was pretty intuitive and I quickly figured out how to play without resorting to reading the manual.

Fun Game
Iris from NYC area, NJ, April 27, 2003

Maximum addictive game, could not put the palm down! Graphics look great. Initally I played the game without any instructions, and then I started using the extra functions (there was a little window with rotating info on how to use them) and the game became even more fun. I still have not maxed out all the options of the game. Right now playing against one advanced, two beginner and a neutral player, but have not been able to win so far. The advanced guy is pretty smart.
