Where do I look for known bugs or compatibility issues?
  • Click on the yellow ISSUES tab above.

Is there any way to buy Aggression using PayPal or by check?
  • Yes there is - email support@blitgames.com for details.

Why can't I choose the Advanced AI player?
  • The advanced player is only available in the commercial version of Aggression.

  • The website sent me my 10-digit Aggression code, but when I typed it in the game said it was invalid.
  • The most likely cause is that when you purchased the game, you gave a HotsyncID that did not EXACTLY match the real Hotsync ID on your Palm. Contact BLiT support and give your exact HotsyncID and we will issue you a new registration number.

  • I went to type in my registration code, and there was just a screen full of text and nowhere to enter a code.
  • You need to install the commercial version of Aggression to register it. This is the trial version. You got the commercial version from Handango when you purchased the product, but you can also get it from this website on the DOWNLOAD page.

  • Why does the Context Help flash so much when I launch it?
  • Since the context help was primarily designed for people who tend to not read any instructions at all, making it flash was the only successful way we found to let them know it was there to read.

  • I'm starting to get tired of tapping. How can I kill an entire country at once?
  • You have many choices. You can hold in the jog wheel or press down F1 (Calendar) and simultaneously tap on the destination country. Or, you can tap on the "JD" button (the first one) so that it highlights, and then tap on a destination country. It'll then kill 'em all. The same trick works for moving.
  • OK...but if I try to kill an enemy all at once, what if I lose?
  • Your juggernaut will pause if you start to loose, giving you a chance to bail out or continue.

  • Is there an easier way to move men besides all this tapping?
  • Again, there are several ways. You can tap on the movebar or the ends of the move bar. You can roll the jog wheel or hit the arrow keys. Or you can do the same things that worked to kill all with moving all.

  • Can I change what information is displayed in the InfoGrid?
  • Absolutely. Just tap on the name in each row, and you will cycle through all the options. If you tap on the tiny delta symbol at the beginning of a row, you will see how much that value changed since the last turn.

  • Can I change the SIZE of the text in the InfoGrid?
  • Beginning with the 1.09 Preview Release, tapping on the top of the info grid toggles between large and small text. With small text, you get more rows. This is unavailable in LoRes.

  • Why, during a game, do I find myself suddenly getting awarded a large number of men?
  • There are two key strategic elements of Aggression. Continents and Aggression points.
  • Every turn you get men based on how many teritories you have, and on how many continents you held onto for an entire turn. So it pays to capture entire continents. (To see how much it pays, hold down the C button.)
  • But there's another big game factor. Every turn in which you conquer AT LEAST one territory you will receive an Aggression Point. When you completely wipe out another player you get all of his Aggression points. At the beginning of a turn, if you have a random amount from 3 to 5 points, the game will turn in three of them for a lot of men.
  • Each time a player turns in points for men, the value of points goes up. That's the "AV" shown at the upper left of the screen. Select "LIMIT VALUES" to cap the maximum Aggression Value at 40 men.

  • When will the computer opponents get really, REALLY hard?
  • We update the strength of the AIs a little bit each release, but the full release of 1.09 will be the first major upgrade in awhile. We intend to keep increasing the AI skills through the end of the year. It just takes time because it's a LOT of coding. We are currently planning to roll out the new AI with release 1.09u5.
